Welcome to the Troubles of Youth Wiki!

This is the Wiki website for the Troubles of Youth unit, taught in the Department of Sociology, Manchester Metropolitan University. Currently, the site is fairly basic, but please feel free to contact me if there is something you wish to add.

Unit Announcements

Seminar Groups:

1. I have managed to get a second 12 o'clock group put on.

2. The two 10am seminar groups are combined into one.

Please click HERE to get a full list of the groups - this was lasted updated on Monday 6th October at 6.15am. It is important you check - you may have been moved from the group you signed up for.

Please note that when you get the Unit Outline, the word length for the assessments is incorrect: the word limit for both pieces of coursework is 2500 words.

As it stands, the wikisite has three sections

  1. Unit Administration - this contains lecture outlines, class times and details of assessments etc.

  2. Lecture Notes - this contains files of brief lecture notes.

  3. Seminar Materials - this contains readings, questions and other material relating to seminars
